Spectra Group (UK) Ltd delighted at top ten ranking by Inmarsat.
Spectra Group (UK) Ltd has been recognised as a 2015 Top Ten Global Government Partner by Inmarsat, the leading commercial global satellite network company.
In recognition of Herefordshire-based Spectra Group being one of the top ten revenue earning companies for the Inmarsat Global Government business in 2015, Simon Davies, CEO of Spectra, was presented with an award by Andy Start, President, Global Government Inmarsat.
Spectra Group is a leading international provider to Defence & Security, Aid & Emergency and commercial organisations, of secure voice, data and satellite communications, in locations with limited or compromised infrastructure. Its ground-breaking SlingShot® system, which is a straightforward and cost-effective way to achieve tactical, secure, beyond line of sight, communications on the move, using UHF and VHF radios, currently exclusively uses the Inmarsat L-TAC™ service, whilst the growing popularity of the SHADE (Spectra Hostile Area Deployment Environment) has led to record airtime revenues, reflected in this award.
“We are very pleased to receive this recognition”, said Simon Davies, CEO of Spectra Group.
“It is not only a great achievement for the company but demonstrates that, in SlingShot® and SHADE™, we have been able to use our deep knowledge of our customers in Global Government, to develop real solutions for their specific communication needs.”
“Inmarsat Global Government congratulates Spectra on achieving top ten partner status in 2015”, said Andy Start, President Global Government, Inmarsat.
“During a time that has seen customer budgets under pressure, Spectra Group has significantly increased its airtime sales and, with the development of SlingShot®, is key to the success of our L-TAC™ service.”
