The Spectra Network Operations Centre (NOC)
experienced engineers providing technical support and configuration to the deployed equipment , creating a 24/7 global communications capability
The NOC is at the heart of SHADE Core, a UK Hub providing connectivity for SHADE Services to the World Wide Web, ISDN, X.21, PSTN or dedicated private networks. The Network guarantees high levels of Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of services.
A 24/7 operation, the NOC ensures Quality of Service (QoS) levels are maintained. NOC staff, experienced in hostile field work, provide technical support to the equipment at the deployed locations and are able to remotely provide configuration changes and fault finding.
To ensure 100% redundancy of the network, SHADE Core is duplicated at a separate geographical location and services automatically fail-over in the event of a loss of service.
